Away from buzzling stress-filled city and into the urban life of not more than 10,000 population Desaru.
Reached Changi ferry terminal at 10am to meet up with the people.
Was feeling really excited, but the weather was a disappointment. It was raining.
=(
Thank goodness that the ferry we took there was the newest, fastest, sheltered & it's air-conditioned.
Else , we'll all be drenched by the time we reach there.
Jason Heng (in the num singlet) was the tour guide for the day since we're at his hometown & he's familiar with the place and people there .
Cabbed down to the chalet that Jason booked earlier.
It's a resort kinda bugalow which has sea-view ! Me like !
We had 3 cars for transportation that day.
2 belongs to Jason, and one was Ah Fei who drove all the way from JB which took him abt 2hrs !
Hence, since it was raining, we all drove to Desaru's town area for lunch at this famous Seafood restaurant called "FeiCui", featured in a variety show in Channel U by Michelle Xie.
I know Singapore has a Fei Cui too. But they're 2 different fei cuis.
Was kinda surprised when I saw most of the cars parked outside the restaurant were Sg licensed cars.
I dont mind going there regularly for seafood, but the thought of the 3 hrs drive is crazy !
Prolly i should suggest dad to drive instead. hah!
2 ladies ,10 men.

& i rate 4.5 stars!
And for the very first time, I tried ostrich meat and it tasted like deer meat to me.
Total bill = RM 1088
How cheaper can the seafood there be?
Food is good, price is reasonable.
A highly-recommended place to go!!
Now I understand why there are so many Singaporeans there.
After lunch, the rain finally stopped and we left the restaurant with our satisfied stomachs to a mart nearby to purchase stuffs for BBQ at night.
Mi Xue Er.
The picture below is a few snapshots I took when I reached the mart.
Heard that that place is their town area.
Just like our Sg's Orchard Road. Can u see the large difference?
On top of that, it has no shopping malls, no cinemas, no kbox , no companies, no job, no nthg.
ABSOLUTELY NTHG AT ALL !
The only one big company they have there is a ship yard whereby they build / repair ships.
But they hire all foreigners and not their local people.
Now I understand why the Jason is here in Sg working at CAS.
Back to the chalet after we bought all the barangs barangs..
We booked 2 of the bungalows with 3 bedrooms inside facing right infront of the sea..
However, the condition of one wasn't good, so we wanted a refund.
But the smart boss there insisted that they don't do refunds and gave us another bungalow instead.
Hence, we've got 3 bugalows for 12 people that night !
Total madness !
So Suzanna, from HR department suggested that we'll use one for cooking, playing etc and another 2 for sleeping.
And the guys created havoc in the cook room..

=)
Dont u find the Ah Fei resembles the kite so so much?
We couldnt stop laughing at this picture !

Busy preparing dinner while the rest of us were enjoying ourselves outside.
So mean !!

The below handful of pictures were taken by Ah Fei who wanna show off his photography skills.
haha!
To be honest, he kinda have a thing for photography.
And mind u, I am not using any dslr or whatsoever.
They were taken merely with a Sony T90.
So, thumbs up to Ah Fei ! =)

Guess who?

When night falls, it was bbq / dinner time !
The part which I have been anticipating for since morning ...
Food were marvellous.
marinated wings, Apple Sauce Pork Chop, sotong , German Sausage with Chesse, Sambal Stingray/Fish, Bacon&Asparagus etc..
And Terence's own-cook caborana pasta!

What's bbq w/out liquour?
We had 2bottles of wine, a bottle of black label & 2 bottles of XO.

haha!
The guys were tipsy. A few were dead drunk and made a fool out of themselves that night.
If blogger allows, i'll post up a video on them acting like clowns.
haha!
I slept through the night. A deep one .
Didnt expect myself to be one ofthe first few to KO.
But I guess it's prolly due to the insufficient sleep the previous night and the alcohol.
Was awaken by the crash of sea waves, the birds' chirping and the sunlight that shone right through the window.
Terence cooked the left over chicken wings with oyster sauce & preheated the pasta for our lunch.
Suzanna brought out her fruit cake that she prepared weeks back and it was damn awesome !
Love the taste of the the brandy-soaked fruits in the cake.

When it was time to check out, we left to purchase their local delicacy and visited the ostrich farm .
